You know who you are bringing. This is what to do with them.

Book Shadows of Dallas - A Team Adventure Spy Quest privately for your own group of up to 6 (a bigger group books one team at a time) and spend 2.5 hours following a story across Dallas. Clues to read, places worth standing in, and enough to work out that everyone finds their moment. You pick the date and the time, and the team is just you.

What to expect

🔍

Just your group

Private booking keeps the Quest to the people you brought, with no one else added to it.

🔍

Everyone finds their moment

Observation matters in one mission and imagination in the next, so different people get their turn at being the one who spots it.

🔍

Go at your own speed

The experience takes about 2.5 hours and is self-guided, so the group decides when to press on and when to stop for a coffee.

A glimpse of Dallas

🔍

Old Red Courthouse

The Old Red Courthouse is a historic Romanesque Revival building in downtown Dallas, completed in 1892 and designed by architect M. A. Orlopp. It is designated as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark and is marked by a Texas Historical Marker at the corner of Main, Houston, and Commerce Streets.

🔍

Central National Road

A Texas Historical Marker (erected 1968, Atlas Number 5113006649) at the corner of Munger Street and Market Street in Dallas's West End Historic District, commemorating the Central National Road. The road was a 130-mile highway chartered in 1844 by the Congress of the Republic of Texas and surveyed by George W. Stell to connect the Red River crossing to the Trinity River in central Dallas County.

🔍

Margaret McDermott Bridge

The Margaret McDermott Bridge is a transportation structure on Interstate 30 in Dallas, connecting the east and west levees of the Trinity River. A building database lists construction from 2014 to 2017 and attributes the design to Santiago Calatrava S.A.

The hard part was never who to invite

Getting the group together is rarely the problem. Deciding what to actually do is. The usual options are pleasant and familiar, and everybody has already done them together more than once.

Shadows of Dallas - A Team Adventure Spy Quest gives the afternoon a shape. There is a case to follow across Dallas, clues that reward paying attention, and a story that keeps opening up as the group moves through it. The spy premise gives everyone something to talk about that is not the usual catch-up.

Book privately and the team is just your group of up to 6. Nobody else joins, and the pace is entirely yours.

What a Dallas Quest with your own group is like

Across 2.5 hours the experience keeps changing what it asks for. One mission rewards noticing a detail; the next rewards someone willing to commit to an idea in public. That variety means the friend who loves a puzzle and the friend who came for the company both have something to do.

Clues are distributed across the team, so the group gets there together. Somebody will spot the thing nobody else saw, and by the end everyone will be claiming they had it first.

Route and mission details stay hidden until play begins, so the discoveries belong to the group. Check the published Dallas Quest page for current booking details, then choose the date that suits everyone.

You pick the date and the start time, so it fits around whatever else the day holds. Book early enough and the whole thing can be someone's birthday surprise, which is the version people tend to talk about longest.
