Partners & Trade

How a deal-site, aggregator or reseller sells and redeems a GoQuestIRL code. This page documents the integration that already exists and runs in production — it is not a proposal.

Live channels today: Groupon (GRPN), Travelzoo (TRVZ), Tinggly (TNGL).

What a code is

A channel code is an entitlement, not stored value: it has no cash amount and no currency, so it redeems the same way against any quest in any city, in whatever currency that quest is priced in — no FX and no chargeback exposure on our side. Each code is scoped to a maximum team size and to a number of quests it covers (a batch can be minted for a single quest per code or for a multi-visit deal), and, if your deal calls for it, to a specific set of cities.

How issuance works

We mint a batch of codes on your behalf — up to 20,000 per batch — set to the team size, quest count, expiry and city coverage your deal specifies. Each code follows the pattern GQ-<CHANNEL>-XXXX-XXXX, with a fixed four-letter tag for your channel baked into the code itself, so a support agent (yours or ours) can identify where a code came from just by reading it — no lookup required.

CSV handoff

Every batch exports as a CSV: code, channel, batch_id, max_players, quests_total, quests_remaining, status, expires_at, redeem_url. The redeem_url column links straight to our public redemption page with the code pre-filled, so a customer can go from your voucher or confirmation email to a booked quest without creating an account first.

How your customer redeems

Redemption happens on goquestirl.com, not through your systems: the customer enters their code at /redeem, picks any quest in any city their code covers, and the code is applied at checkout — the quest is covered, with nothing more to pay up to the terms of the code. There is no partner-side booking API to integrate; the website is the entire redemption surface.

Checking a code's status

A public, rate-limited lookup endpoint reports whether a given code is still active, already fully redeemed, expired or void — useful for your own support desk to answer “does my customer's code still work” without contacting us. It answers only that question; it is not a general account or order lookup.

Redemption reporting

For any batch we can produce a reconciliation summary: codes issued, active, redeemed and void; quests entitled, redeemed and remaining; and total redemptions broken down by city and by first/last redemption date. This is what a settlement statement gets checked against.

[PLACEHOLDER] reporting today is pulled on request by our ops team, not self-served through a partner dashboard or delivered on an automatic schedule. If your onboarding needs a specific cadence (daily, weekly) or a self-serve login, that is a commercial and engineering decision to make explicitly, not something this page should imply already exists.

How pricing works

We work with trade partners under one of two models. A standard reseller arrangement runs on either a net rate (you set your own retail price on top of a wholesale rate we quote you) or a commission on the price we publish — in line with the tours-and-activities industry norm of roughly 20–30% (Viator, GetYourGuide and Klook all publish similar bands publicly). A deal-channel partnership — the Groupon/Travelzoo/Tinggly-style bulk-code model described above — works differently: we issue heavily-discounted codes and the channel keeps a larger share, reflecting the marketing reach a deal channel brings rather than an ongoing booking relationship.

The figures above are public industry context, not a quote. Your actual rate, any minimum volume, and payment terms are set per partner once we understand your channel and expected volume — email us and we'll send our current rate card.

Settlement and support

Settlement is monthly by default, matching the cadence our existing partner-payout system already runs on. Minimums apply only to bespoke bulk or net-rate deals and are set per partner, not a blanket figure.

We don't publish a response-time SLA or a capacity/real-time-availability guarantee. GoQuestIRL is a small, growing operation, and a number we can't consistently hit would be worse for you than none — trade support requests go to a real person, not a queue, at the address below.

Onboarding a new channel

Email support@goquestirl.com to start a conversation. Adding a new channel is a small, deliberate change on our side — a new four-letter tag reserved for your codes — so it is a short lead time, not a platform migration.

GoQuestIRL is operated by Paper Kite Systems LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (registration no. 2026-002032913), registered office at 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA.

[PLACEHOLDER] a dedicated partnerships contact separate from support@goquestirl.com is a reasonable next step once trade volume justifies it — not set up yet.
