About this experience
An afternoon in Palermo with somewhere to be and something to work out.
There is a particular pleasure in having a reason to be somewhere. Not wandering, not queuing, but actually going somewhere, for a reason, with people whose company you enjoy. That is what this gives you: a story across four stops in Palermo, a team that is all in on the same secret, and no clock between stops, so you can enjoy the walk.
The story takes you one stop at a time, and each one adds a piece. It all comes together at the last stop, which is chosen to be the best place on the route.
You will pass through streets you would normally hurry past and stop in front of things you would normally walk around. The story makes you look more carefully, and makes you care about what you find.
By the end you will have worked out things that felt impossible at the start, and spent an afternoon with people you now know a great deal better. It is the difference between a day out and an afternoon you remember.

Cancellation policy
Flexible cancellation: Plans change, so every booking comes with three options. Cancel in one click from your booking page any time before your quest, and for up to 45 minutes after your scheduled start, and choose a credit for the full amount you paid (valid for 12 months on any quest), a free reschedule to another departure, or a refund of your full payment minus the non-refundable payment processing fee. The card processing fee is charged by our payment provider when you pay and is not returned on a refund; a credit or a reschedule keeps the whole amount. After those 45 minutes, email our support team at support@goquestirl.com. Booked through Viator or another site? Cancel or change your booking with them: they handle the refund. Playing solo: on an open departure, if nobody else turns up by the time teams form (30 minutes after the start), you play Solo Mode, the version of the quest made for one player. A private booking for one plays Solo Mode from the start.

What is GoQuestIRL?
A real-world spy story you play on your phone, with your own group or with other players. It runs across four stops, and each one is revealed as you play.
Can I book on my own?
Yes, and you can choose how. Book an open departure (Sundays at 3:00 PM local time) and you are teamed up with the other players who arrive (usually 6, up to 8), or book a private solo quest and play the whole story on your own, at any available time.
Do we have to act or dress up?
There are no costumes and nothing to prepare. Some missions are playful and involve taking photos on your own phones. They are meant to be silly rather than polished, you decide who is in front of the camera, and any mission you would rather not do can be skipped.
What if I am shy or not very outgoing?
That is completely fine. There is nothing to perform for strangers: the only people watching are the ones on your team, and anything you film stays private unless your team chooses to share it. You can take the quieter roles, filming or working out the clues, and still be a full part of the adventure. If you would rather play only with the people you came with, choose the Private Group option.

- You stay with your team for the whole quest. The route never separates players, and no mission sends you anywhere on your own.
- Every stop is an outdoor public place that is open and in use: no private addresses, no restricted areas, no isolated spots.
- Evening departures are only offered where every stop on the route is lit and open at that hour.
- You can switch your booking to a private group at any time before departure, so only the people you booked with can join.
- Every mission can be skipped, with no penalty and no explanation needed. Your team decides who appears on camera, and recap videos stay private unless you share them.
- You can pause or leave at any point, for any reason. Stopping costs you nothing and holds nobody up.
While you play
- Follow local laws, posted signs, and pedestrian rules at all times.
- Do not enter restricted areas or take unnecessary risks to complete a mission.
- Pause the experience whenever conditions make it unsafe to continue.
- You remain responsible for your own personal belongings.
